Using your cover composition sketches, apply your final masthead and type hierarchy choices into rough cover layouts. Your cover should include a common masthead and outline the “contents” of one issue of the magazine. Use typographic hierarchy to communicate one feature article (the same one you will be designing a layout for), at least two other secondary articles, and one other type of feature content. Please go ahead and place in rough cover images. These can be initial photos or detailed sketches of the shot compositions, etc. Be sure to select the preset size for iPad when setting up your document in InDesign.
